Some of these products were sent to me to review and this post contains affiliate links, which means that if you click on one of the product links, I’ll receive compensation. The Essie Gel Couture line is legit amazing, though. As always, all opinions are my own.
Happy Mani Monday! This year I’ll be recapping each week’s mani here on the blog with a roundup on the last Monday of every month… That’s the plan, anyway. First up, my five manicures from January. Each of these manicures starts with OPI Nail Envy base coat and is topped with HK Glisten & Glow top coat.
Week 1: Happy New Year! I’ve been rocking the same style nail art for the last few years, so I had to keep it going. This is Cirque Colors “Let’s Dance” over black with hand drawn numbers.
Week 2: I love this neutral combo from Ella + Mila polish. The base is “time for a bond fire” and I used two glitters for the gradient: “glow with me” and “bronze me baby”.
Week 3: I got this matte top coat by Adesse New York in my January Boxycharm and couldn’t wait to try it. Here’s OPI “Put It In Neutral” topped with the top coat and accented with my favorite glitter EVER, OPI “My Favorite Ornament”.
Week 4: This is Essie Gel Couture “haute to trot” accented with some hand painted flowers. I can’t stop wearing these Essie polishes, or buying them. I love them so much. The only thing I don’t like is how hard the bottle is to hold for these pictures.
Week 5: This polish was from my December Boxycharm, but I hadn’t gotten around to swatching it. I also haven’t gotten around to posting it on Instagram yet, so stay tuned, but in the meantime, here’s Butter London “Ruby Murray”.
That’s all for now! Next month will be filled with Valentine’s (& birthday!) nails, but let me know in the comments what else you’d like to see!
